Peewee 2 wins the EAHC Peewee Lower Division Championship

The Peewee 2 team coached by Dan Blasdell won the EAHC Peewee Lower Championship on Saturday 2/24/2018 in an exciting 5-2 victory over Geneseo.

Peewee Major wins MyHockey Presidential Power Play Tournament on Feb 17-19, 2018

Congratulations to the Peewee Major Travel team on their big tournament win this weekend. They are Champions of the Rochester Presidential Power-Play - Pee Wee A Division. They beat teams from the Cleveland, Philadelphia, Buffalo & Northern NY areas. Beating Massena, of Northern NY, 5-2 in the finals. The weekend was super exciting and the boys all played great. Congratulations to them all.

March Tournament Success Stories - see pictures below

Girls U14: the Girls 14U team made it to the Pink Division (14U) of the GLGHL championship game at Riverworks in Buffalo at the end of February. They lost in the championship, but fought hard to get there and it capped off a great season.  Congrats to our Girls Teams!

RWB 1 coached by Sean Chase won the Golden Seal division at Perinton's Big Thaw March 3-5.  See picture below.  Lost to Valley: 2-1. Won vs Auburn: 4-2. Won vs. Utica 13-0. Then beat Perinton in championship game: 2-1.

RWB-1 (Chase) won the Championship for the Pacific Division of the Pepsi Tournament March 17-19
Won vs. Binghamton Bandits: 8-2. Tied Oswego: 2-2. Won vs. West Seneca: 8-4. Won vs. Oswego in Championship game: 5-3.
Great season for RWB-1!!! Winning championship games in the last three tournaments!!!! Congratulations!!!!

Squirt 2 - Piraino coached by Dave Piraino, with Assistant Coaches Dave Ryder and Rick Rinaldi, Won the Championship Game in the Squirt Division of the Boulter Classic over the weekend of March 17-19.

MVP Awarded to Michael Nappi with 2 Shutouts in the Tournament, and a total of 10 shutouts on the season.  Great Job Michael!!!
The Pee Wee 1A team capped off a phenomenal season with another championship at the David Bigelow Memorial Tournament in Brockport this weekend. They took their first two games, beating the Buffalo Stars (8-2), then MCYH (4-2). They dropped their third game against Perinton (4-3), but still advanced to the championship final where they took on regular-season nemesis RYH  and beat them handily (5-2) for their third championship win in four tries!
The team finished the regular season with a 6-8-2 record, but it was at that point they really came alive and played some stellar hockey to finish strong. They went 3-0 in their league playoffs bringing home the 1st place trophy against rival Geneseo. In addition, they played in three tournaments, making it to the championship game each time - and taking home two more championship titles. Coach Andy LaPietra's team finished the playoff/tournament season with an extremely impressive 12-2-2 record. Overall they were 18-10-4.
Congratulations to coaches Andy LaPietra, Jeremy Countryman, Jeff Procaccini, and the entire Pee Wee A team. You boys should be very proud of your efforts! 
Following a third place regular season finish with a record of 8-5-1 in the Great Lakes Girls Hockey League White Division, the Webster Girls 16U NTB team advanced to the February 26th league tournament championship game at the Buffalo Riverworks.  After winning their first three games and their semi-final matchup against the Finger Lakes Freeze, the Webster girls ultimately fell to the top seed from Wheatfield. The girls had a great season under the leadership of head coach Mark Hyde and assistant coaches Marnie Weinmann, Corey Darrow, and Chris Mayer.

Empire House Achievements for 2016-17

Webster had 7 teams playing in the Empire Amateur Hockey League in the Squirt thru Midget divisions during 2016-17.  We had an amazing season!

Squirt 1 coached by Olesh Murij:
         Regular Season Champions with a record of 14-1-1!
         Playoff Champions with a 3-2 win over Perinton in the Finals!

Squirt 2 coached by David Piraino:
         Finished 2nd in Regular Season with a record of 13-2-1

Squirt 3 coached by David Weiss:
         Finished 1st in Regular Season with a record of 14-1-1  See Picture below!

Peewee 1 coached by Andy LaPietra:
         Finished 4th in the very tough Peewee A division with a 6-8-2 record
         Pulled off several upsets to win the Peewee A Playoffs with an exciting overtime win over Geneseo 3-2 in the Finals!

Peewee 2 coached by John Campana:
         Finished 3rd in the Peewee B division with a record of 10-3-3
         Pulled off an upset to advance to the Playoff Finals before losing to #1 Batavia 3-2 in a very exciting game!

Bantam 1 coached by Matt DeVries:
         Finished 6th in the very tough Bantam division with a record of 7-7-2 with a mostly 1st year Bantam team
         Pulled off two upsets to advance to the Bantam Upper Division Finals before losing to #1 seed Monroe County 5-3 in another very exciting game!

Midget 1 coached by Bob McGrail:
         This team consisted of  primarily 1st year midgets in a divisions dominated by teams much older (4 year age range) and almost pulled off a few upsets.  This team is looking forward to next season!

FIVE Tournament wins in January 2017 for Webster

Four on MLK weekend plus one more on 1/20-22!!!

RWB 1 coached by Sean Chase went to Auburn 1/20-22 and won the Mighty Mite Tournament:

Beat Salmon River 12-0, won against Camillus 14-1, then won 25-0 against Auburn and won 3-2 against Binghamton.  In the Championship game, won 7-5 against Skaneateles.

MyHockey Empire State Cup - won the Peewee B2 division
In the Round Robin, won against Central Park Hawks 7-0, tied Monroe Country 3-3, and tied Bethlehem Eagles 5-5.  Won in Championship game against Bethlehem Eagles 3-1.

MyHockey Empire State Cup - won the Bantam A1 division
In the Round Robin, started with a tie against the Cumberland Jr Grads (Ontario) 1-1, then tied the Ithaca Bears 1-1, then beat the Niagara on the Lake Wolves (Ontario) 3-2.  In the Semi-Finals, they stepped up and beat the Cumberland Jr Grads 5-1 advancing them to the Championship game against the Niagara on the Lake Wolves.  This very tight and well played game ended 3-3, a scoreless overtime was followed by a Shootout which Webster won 2-0.

MyHockey Empire State Cup - won the Squirt B division
In the Round Robin, started with a loss to the Schenectady Chargers 2-6 then beat the Binghamton Jr Senators 6-1 and the CP Dynamo 8-2 to qualify for the Championship game.  The kids stepped up and beat the Schenectady Chargers 7-2 in the final.

Went to Amherst TOP GUN House Tournament in Buffalo.
Started with a 2-2 tie against the Amherst Oilers on Friday, then on Saturday won 3-1 against the Amherst Bruins and 5-1 against the Amherst Canadiens.  On Sunday morning, 6-1 winners against the Buffalo Bisons which qualified them for the Championship on Sunday afternoon.  Won Championship with a 4-3 OT win against the Amherst Sabres!
