Happy August WYHA families! Hockey season is getting closer and closer and we have facilitated an equipment swap for those who may have extra gear that others could use.
Date: Saturday August 13
Location: Webster Ice Arena, 865 Publishers Parkway
Recommended equipment drop off time: 9-11a
Recommended pickup/shopping time: 11a-1p
We are piloting this and are facilitating a donation/exchange only (if you wish to sell any gear you can email firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com and we would be happy to post it on our swap site). Therefore, no "selling" at this event please. Feel free to just drop off and leave. You may pick up anything left over at 1pm should you wish to retain it, otherwise it will be donated elsewhere.
PLEASE NOTE: equipment must be in good condition. Helmets must not be expired. Any on-ice/safety gear must protect its next user, so please avoid bringing any equipment that may have tears, holes, etc.
A few of us will be on hand to help keep things organized by size. WYHA is not acting as a broker, just a facilitator by providing space and time.
We hope this helps clean up your basement or garage and look forward to seeing you on the 13th!
Should you have any questions feel free to email Don Reeves (Equipment Manager) at firstname.lastname@example.org

Dear Hockey Fans & Members of Webster Youth Hockey:
The Rochester Americans have generously donated 4 upcoming season 2016-2017 hockey tickets and a signed puck by Evan Rodrigues as a contribution to this year’s fundraising event for the Brain Injury Association of New York (BIANY). Please consider donating to this well deserving organization that helps with education, prevention, and facilitating legislation on behalf of individuals with brain injuries and their families. The person making the highest donation from Webster Youth Hockey will receive the tickets and puck. Webster has set up a link (see below) to gather the donation commitments. Our coordinator is Corey Darrow of Bantam Major and Girls U16. Corey will collect all donations (cash or check made out to Brain Injury Association of New York only) and award the tickets & puck to the highest donor. Donation commitments will accepted through August 26 with donors expected to mail their donation to Corey by August 26. The address for Corey will be on your email confirmation receipt. Any questions, please contact Corey Darrow at email@example.com
