Camps, Clinics & Supplemental
Register your player for a Webster Youth Hockey camp, clinic or supplemental program. These are opportunities for additional ice time and to learn specific skills. All participants must be registered on a WYHA team or program for the upcoming season.
The Power-Skating Camps include five hour-long on-ice sessions to develop the most important FUNdamental skills required to be competitive in ice hockey. All activities will be age-appropriate, progressive, and challenging. To enhance players’ quickness in today’s small-area, rapid paced game, specific emphasis is placed on developing:
- Efficient stride technique, agility, balance, coordination, and edge strength
- Quick change of direction and lateral mobility
- Power development for rapid acceleration, transitions, turns, and crossovers
- Supporting skills of puck-handling, passing and shooting
